Job Description:

The Cost Planning department within the Space & Mission Systems Segment of L3Harris is seeking an analyst to lead the General & Administrative (G&A) Pool and oversee all functions within the pool including HR, Legal, Accounting & Finance, and Strategy, Business Development & Marketing. This high‑visibility role partners directly with functional leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to drive informed business decisions.

Essential Functions:

• Prepare and deliver functional reports including budgets versus forecasts versus actuals, headcount trends, non-labor expenses, discretionary spending, and capital
• Assist functions with information and data requests
• Assist functions with various cost-planning related requests (e.g., special projects, cost transfers, ICPs, etc.)
• Handle various ad hoc information requests and analyses
• Drive process improvement initiatives
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience; Or, Graduate degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience; Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
• Experience with AI tools, automation tools (Alteryx), and dashboard reporting tools (Power BI)
• Finance experience with a defense contractor

• Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with PeopleSoft and Hyperion Planning is a plus
• Program finance experience is a plus
