Job Description: 

Reporting directly to the Senior Director, Strategy, Integrated Mission Systems (IMS) Segment, this position plays a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the segment and the company, with a focus on driving profitable growth in an increasingly fast-paced and dynamic global Aerospace and Defense market. The successful candidate will provide strategic expertise and insights to inform strategic decisions, optimize business efficiency, and drive sustained growth.

Essential Functions: 

  • Research and analyze global market and competitive dynamics to uncover emerging opportunities and strategic risks for segment strategy
  • Translate complex data and insights into actionable strategic recommendations for IMS leadership.
  • Lead and facilitate cross-functional workshops to develop and align corporate, segment, and sector strategies.
  • Build financial and strategic models that guide long-term investment decisions.
  • Develop executive-ready materials for annual strategic planning, Board and senior leadership discussions.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to advance strategic initiatives that shape the company’s direction

 

 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Strategy, Finance, Business Management, Engineering or equivalent area and a minimum of 3 years’ exposure to/experience in aerospace and defense industry, or related field and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience
  • Proven ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data into clear recommendations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, including advanced PowerPoint, Excel
  • Familiar with industry specific research tools (e.g. Federal Procurement Data System (FPDS), Janes, DACIS, Bloomberg Government)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure, with a high degree of flexibility
  • Collaborative, team-player

 

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Exposure to air and sea domains
  • Consulting experience
  • Experience in innovation and disruption
  • Experience with SharePoint, Teams, data management platforms
