Job Description:

Space Systems team seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector Supervisor. This role is responsible for leading and overseeing Quality Control inspection personnel and daily inspection operations to ensure consistent execution of quality requirements across the organization. The Supervisor will provide direction, coaching, and prioritization for the inspection team, while driving compliance with customer, regulatory, and internal requirements. This position focuses on people leadership, process oversight, and continuous improvement to support operational excellence, inspection readiness, and overall product quality.

Essential Functions:

• Supervise and lead Quality Control Inspectors in the execution of daily inspection activities.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple functions supporting the production of high-complexity products to ensure quality requirements are met throughout the product lifecycle.
• General understanding of manufacturing, materials, test and design engineering.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong experience with preparing and handling documentation.
• Understanding of quality control methods and processes.
• Drive process and production excellence through a continuous improvement mindset, helping ensure quality, efficiency, and adaptability in a rapidly growing program environment.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and lead teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Currently hold / or ability to obtain a US security clearance

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years prior related experience.
• Prior experience in Quality Control, Inspection, Manufacturing Quality, or a related discipline.
• Prior leadership, supervisory, team lead, or coordinating experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, continuous improvement elements
