Job Description: 

L3Harris Technologies Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to technical edit, format and stage proposals for delivery with strategic importance to the SS&I Division. The role involves coordinating with Proposal Manager counterparts and providing Data Management training and collaboration to cross-functional teams throughout the proposal development process. Additionally, the Project Manager will assign users in SharePoint, create proposal workspaces, provide delivery metrics to leadership, and develop templates. The Project Manager will provide guidance and assistance to support level employees.

 

Essential Functions: 

  • Works under general direction and guidance within standard process for non-routine tasks
  • Responsible for ensuring high-quality program documentation by performing technical editing to ensure deliverable templates compliance, Cost Volume, all milestone documents, and other documents utilizing all Microsoft Office Applications
  • Responsible for ensuring documentation is clear, concise, and free of errors, including consistency in tense and format of products in alignment with department approved styles
  • Edit/format/add BOE information into Cost Volume in the form of a section/appendix/attachment
  • Responsible for creating locked down working templates for Proposal Managers, Program Managers and other cross functional stakeholders using the Microsoft Office Suite of Applications
  • Communicate with Trade Compliance on determination of documentation Export Controlled Information
  • Ensure correct usage and placement of CUI header/footers, CUI designation box, CUI Warning Box (for commingled documents), and optional CUI portion markings throughout document (as applicable)
  • Properly mark Classified documents with Distribution, Destruction, and Declassification Information, proper Classified markings, and foreign disclosure statements
  • Responsible for developing and implementing DM review cycle plans
  • Establish review delivery dates and coordinate with the Proposal Manager for delivery of documents into the proposal process
  • Provide delivery metrics to leadership via daily DM standup meetings, weekly staff meetings, SharePoint dashboard and/or other tools
  • Grant SharePoint internal/external user accounts
  • Setup proposal SharePoint workspaces and stage with current templates and historical information (as applicable)
  • Communicate with contacts within and outside of own team, requiring explanation or interpretation in order to understand and reach agreement
  • Make contributions to changes in systems and processes to solve problems though less-routine tasks
  • Propose solutions to problems for others review

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in technical discipline (Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, etc.), Business Administration, Management, or related field 

 

Preferred Additional Skills:

·        Preferred proposal experience

·        Knowledge and experience working with CUI documents per DoDI 5200.48

·        Knowledge and experience working with Classified documents per DoD 5200.01M Vol.2

·        Knowledge and experience with SharePoint

·        Experience working in a Classified environment

·        Developing and implementing DM plans and experience working with DoD, Air Force, and/or Commercial DM standards as well as experience establishing DM standards as well as experience establishing DM controls

·        Ability to learn SW tools and develop expertise

·        Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as SharePoint

·        Excellent communication, judgment/problem-solving, interpersonal, and team collaboration skills

·        Excellent written and presentation skills

·        Well-organized, resourceful, and a multi-tasker with strong attention to detail

·        Ability to anticipate assistance needs and take initiative
