Job Description:

The Administrative Assistant serves as the focal point of contact for all communication, coordination, event planning, logistical support, procurement, travel, and expense management for the Space & Airborne Systems (SAS) Segment Program Management Excellence (PMX) organization.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Provide administrative support to the entire US-based SAS PMX organization
  • Arrangement of travel and processing of expense reports
  • Execute conference planning and executive meeting organization
  • Process overtime requests for team members
  • General support to the six (6) staff leaders and their teams
  • Facilities / cubicle / office management
  • Coordination with suppliers, subcontractors, consultants, and other third parties
  • Collaboration with other functional, sector, and division administrative professionals
  • Support to coordination and execution of training offerings, billings, and other administrative tasks in support of the Program Leadership Team (PLT) Certification Program
  • Support of special projects as required

 

Qualifications: 

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.

 

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Proficient in MS Office suite of tools, including PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Possess excellent communication skills, quality commitment, customer focus, strong interpersonal skills and be adaptable.
  • Demonstrate a strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Demonstrates initiative and teamwork.
  • Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and ensure tasks are completed on time
  • Ability to effectively and positively interact with all levels of employees and management
  • General business and operational analysis experience
  • General usage of SharePoint / SharePoint Administration
  • Ariba, Concur, SuccessFactors, and other L3Harris business systems experience
