About your next Challenge as an IT Implementation Specialist:
The IT Implementation Specialist will provide support to the infrastructure and software team for troubleshooting and implementation of various IT solutions.
What will you do:
- Implement and manage servers and virtual machines (VMs).
- Configure and maintain firewalls and access control list (ACL) rules.
- Test and evaluate new technologies and applications.
- Install and test new applications to support a development team.
- Ensure the Server Lab is functional and reliable for dependent employees.
- Collaborate with a small, agile team to quickly adapt to new technologies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in the lab environment.
- Document configurations, procedures, and test results.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other team members.
- Participate in the planning and execution of lab maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and standards.
Required Skills and Experiences:
- Electrical Engineering Technology Diploma or any other relevant field;
- 3-5 years of work experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Proven experience in server and VM implementation;
- Strong knowledge of firewalls and ACL configuration;
- Experience testing and deploying new technologies and applications;

Eligibility Criteria (Mandatory):
- Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada “Reliability” status and Level 2 (Secret) security clearance.
- Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
