Compensation Range: Between $55,500 - 103,500 CDN annually

 

The IT Customer Services Technician will be responsible for providing onsite technical support for end users, including applications, workstations, printers, mobile devices, collaboration platforms, and conference room technologies. 

 

Essential Functions: 

  • Provide onsite technical support for end users, including applications, workstations, printers, mobile devices, collaboration platforms, and conference room technologies.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues; escalate appropriately to remote infrastructure teams when required.
  • Serve as the primary IT representative for the site, maintaining close coordination with enterprise IT teams and third-party vendors.
  • Support onboarding/offboarding activities, user account administration, equipment provisioning, and asset lifecycle management.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of incidents, service requests, and asset records in ITSM systems in accordance with established SLAs and processes.
  • Monitor recurring issues and site trends, recommending improvements to enhance stability, security, and user experience.
  • Support implementation of corporate IT initiatives, upgrades, and compliance-related activities at the site level.

 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in IT (or equivalent experience) with 5–8 years of progressive IT support experience.
  • Proven ability to operate independently as the primary IT contact for a site.
  • Strong experience with Windows enterprise environments, Microsoft 365, Active Directory/Azure AD, and endpoint management tools.
  • Working knowledge of basic network troubleshooting and collaboration technologies.
  • Experience working within ITSM/SLA-driven environments.
  • Strong communication skills and professional presence with end users and site leadership.

 

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2/NATO Secret security clearance.
