Job Description:
L3Harris Technologies Company is seeking a Lead, Product Manager to join our growing Aerojet Rocketdyne Segment Missile Solutions Sector facility in Orange, Virginia. The Lead, Product Manager is a key product-centric leadership role that reports into site leadership and is also the liaison between the program office and the Camden facility. In this role, you will lead a cross-functional Integrated Product Team (IPT) to achieve a product line’s delivery, quality and cost goals.
Essential Functions:
- Manage all delivery, quality, schedule, and cost targets associated with a program's production.
- Develop and execute the Production Integrated Product Team (P-IPT) business rhythm.
- Develop and maintain production schedules to meet delivery commitments.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships.
- Manage financial impacts and program budgets (EVM & Control Account Manager Duties), Safety, Security, PP&C, Global Supply Chain and IT.
- Lead the Production IPT alignment for the operations site teams to successfully execute program requirements relative to delivery, quality, schedule, cost, and performance.
- Interface with site leadership, program management, and customer to ensure the program needs and site plans are in alignment.
- Develop recovery plans when issues arise and coordinate applicable corrective actions.
- Business Travel up to 10% to L3Harris or customer sites
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 9 years of prior relevant operations, program or product management experience or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related operations, program or product management experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- 5+ years experience within manufacturing/production in the aerospace and defense industry.
- Experience and familiarity with MS Office products.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to analyze, evaluate and develop solutions to technical problems with minimum supervision.
