Job Description:

 

This position will report directly to the Associate Manager of Facilities, under general supervision of the Facilities Manager. This position would be the 1st shift, 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM on the 9/80 standard schedule, but must be available to work any shift, weekends, holidays and be on call as required.

 

The Facility Technician (Carpenter) will work under general supervision to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance using manufacturer publications, blueprints, schematics and locally generated instructions. Must be familiar with OSHA and NEC standards. Will be required to follow work procedures, work on facilities, and production equipment, as well as perform general maintenance.

 

Essential Functions:

 

  • Repair and maintenance of existing facilities 
  • New construction 
  • 6S general shop upkeep, cleaning, or organizing

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior carpenter experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of carpenter related experience

 

 

Preferred Additional Skills:

 

  • Strong electrical experience / training in repairs in an industrial setting
  • Proficient computer skills (such as MS Word and Excel, including use of formulas) strongly desired

 

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $23.80/hr - $43.99/hr. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
