This position will report directly to the Associate Manager of Facilities, under general supervision of the Facilities Manager. With thorough knowledge and experience in the maintenance of many types of assets, including but not limited to automobiles, construction equipment, landscaping equipment, generators and snow removal equipment.
Essential Functions:

Will be required to drive between various locations within the Company facility

Must have the ability to read instruction and repair manuals

Also the ability to operate hand tools, power tools, diagnostic tools and other equipment to complete assigned tasks (all of the necessary tools are provided for this position)

50% - Asset repais

30% - Preventive Maintenance

20% - 6S General shop upkeep, cleaning or organizing
Qualifications:

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant maintenance experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related maintenance experience
Preferred Additional Skills:

Proficient computer skills (such as MS Word, Outlook and Excel) strongly desired

May be expected to work varying shifts and hours to ensure successful operation of activities in the organization

May also be required to perform general maintenance tasks such as plowing snow, mowing, etc. as needed

May require the ability to change into or out of personal protective equipment when entering or exiting manufacturing, laboratory, or other areas
