Job Description:

L3Harris is seeking an Integration/Test Engineering Specialist, RC-135 Mission Systems for our location at Offutt AFB, Nebraska providing maintenance, test, and sustainment on extremely complex airborne and ground-based systems for the US Air Force’s RC-135 aircraft.  These include:

• Operating and sustaining digital/computer-based systems, associated networks, digital and analog audio/interphone and recorder systems
• Repairing coax, ethernet, and multi-pin cables and connections
• Utilizing electronic schematic diagrams to troubleshoot and repair digital and analog circuits
• Operating LOS and SATCOM radios in voice, text, and data modes
• Configuring, loading, operating, and maintaining various crypto devices
• Performing configuration, setup, and usage of Data Transfer Devices
• Operating and sustaining various datalinks and broadband communications
• Troubleshooting/Repairing HF, VHF, and UHF receiver/transmitter systems
• Managing system records and coordinating with maintenance supply organizations for requisition, documentation, and turn-in of parts

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
• Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance within 1 year
• Experience operating/sustaining Computers, LAN networks, RF system, Radios, and Datalinks
• Previously qualified to troubleshoot and maintain RC-135 mission systems or similar systems.
• Able to work variable shifts
• Must be worldwide deployable with the ability to travel up to 40% of the time
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. up to 5% of the time and climb ladders daily

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Familiarity with signal generators, spectrum analyzers and other advanced test equipment
• Broadband and voice communications experience
• Qualified to maintain RC-135 mission systems with in the last 2 years
• CompTIA Security + Certification
• Build, Repair, Re-pin various cable types
