Job Description: 

The Industrial Engineer optimizes complex systems, processes, and operations to maximize efficiency, reduce waste and improve productivity. Reporting directly to the Operations Site Lead the Industrial Engineer is a key part of the bridge between management and production, devising systems that integrate workers, machines, and material to deliver finished products to the customer. 

Essential Functions: 

  • Analyze production workflows, identify bottlenecks, and develop solutions to streamline operations.
  • Conduct time and motion studies, staff surveys, and observations to establish labor standards and metrics.
  • Develop facility layouts and material handling system using software like AutoCAD and production simulation tools.
  • Design workstations that prioritize worker safety, comfort, and human-technology interaction.
  • Implement methodologies; Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma to eliminate waste and maintain quality control.
  • 10% travel may be incurred. 

Qualifications: 

  • CAD design (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) simulation modeling and data analytics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills rooted in mathematics, probability, and statistics.
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma, root-cause analysis, and supply chain management concepts.
  • Excellent project management, cross- departmental communication, and leadership capabilities.
  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience. 

Preferred Additional Skills: 

  • Bachelors or Advance Degree in Engineering discipline.
  • Minimum Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
  • Proficiency and ability to query ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Epicor, Microsoft).
  • Tableau, MATLAB or equivalent statistical analysis software.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $105,500-196,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
