Job Description:

The Lead, Supply Chain Program Manager (SCPM), for Maritime Imaging Systems in Northampton, MA will leverage their experience in Supply Chain, Subcontracts, and/or Program Management to develop a robust Supply Chain Strategy for key programs across the Imaging Systems portfolio. In collaboration with functional leaders, the Lead SCPM will institute tailored Supply Chain Management practices to support successful program execution on production programs as well as early engineering design efforts, within the product life cycle. The Supply Chain Program Manager (SCPM) will also offer program input through risk and opportunity management to ensure top notch supply chain and program execution. Lead SCPM will be responsible for program cost, schedule, and compliance with internal and external regulations with respect to materials and subcontracts.

In this highly visible role, the Lead SCPM will collaborate across functions as a key member of the IPT (Integrated Project / Program Team). The Supply Chain Program Manager (SCPM) is an integral focal within the overarching Supply Chain organization, serving as the Northampton interface to Programs, Engineering, Quality, Finance and Operations. This individual will also be a Subject Matter Expert in Supply Chain and Programmatic Practices.

Essential Functions:

  • Serve as the primary liaison between Supply Chain and other IPT functions for key Products/Programs
  • Develop and execute Supply Chain strategies and actions to support full Program lifecycle
  • Ensure timely completion of all material and subcontract program milestones
  • Serve as the Program’s Material and Subcontracts Cost Account Manager (CAM), be accountable for the material and subcontract program budgets, and drive actions to improve financial performance
  • Analyze key performance indicators and identify challenge areas
  • Champion Continuous Improvement (CI) projects
  • Lead others by influence in a matrixed environment
  • Develop and Manage Supply Chain Risks & Opportunities
  • Support compliance with all internal policies and external laws and regulations
  • Assist Program Finance in rolling up quarterly financial status against the AOP and Short-Term Forecast, EAC and ETC
  • Work with Supply Chain team to develop and support the strategic supplier relationships
  • Coordinate and align supplier strategy with Category Management
  • Develop Supply Chain Recovery plans as necessary and applicable, communicate critical issues to stakeholders with solution focused actions
  • Responsible for all Supply Chain inputs in support of all proposal activities
  • Coordinate Subcontracts (Subcontracts Administrators) involvement with program hardware requirements development
  • Ability to communicate effectively to internal executive leadership as well as operations management both written and verbally
  • Ability to break large complex issues into smaller individual approaches to achieve business objectives

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.  In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.    
  • Applied experience in Supply Chain and Program Management execution across a Product Life Cycle (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, PRR etc.)
  • Experience in Subcontractor Management through various stages of development through production
  • Experience with New Business Proposals / Capture Experience on competitive and/or sole source pursuits
  • 9-13 years’ experience and expert level knowledge in FAR, DFARS, ITAR
  • Ability to obtain a Security Clearance which requires U.S. Citizenship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Control Account Management (CAM) Experience
  • Experience in developing technical statements of work
  • PMP Certification
  • Advanced degree
  • Applied SAP Experience

 

 

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado State, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Vermont and New York State is $95K-$177K.  For California, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Washington D.C., Maryland Greater Washington D.C. area, the city of Denver, Washington State and New York City, the salary range for this role is $110-$205K.  This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
