Job Description:
The Principal Program Finance position will be responsible for the financial management of assigned programs. The position will be responsible for driving EVMS implementations, improving EAC processes, assist in improving program execution and ensuring alignment to L3Harris Corporate policies across a wide range of portfolios within Undersea Systems (USS) Division as well as other key strategic programs within Maritime Imaging Systems (MIS).
Essential Functions:
- Partner with and provide guidance to Program Managers, Technical Leads, and Division/Sector leadership related to financial performance
- Lead the improvement and streamlining of policies and procedures, including driving utilization and finance functional oversight of SAP PMMO (Project Manufacturing Management Optimization) / GPD (Grouping Pegging Distribution)
- Responsible for influencing day-to-day execution of all financial activity related to Programs, Proposals, Reviews, including the development of strategies necessary to achieve program financial goals
- Program finance duties will include: development/review of time-phased budgets following contract award; establishment of key performance metrics and milestones; ongoing reporting of Program(s) cost and schedule variances in accordance with company policy; ETC/EAC preparation and review, analysis and monitoring; maintenance and reporting of timely performance data to division management team as well as customer; investigation of financial irregularities; financial program compliance; prepare milestone invoices and analyze program cash forecast.

- Lead program financials including development of time-phased integrated budgets and schedules, Earned Value (EV) data compliance and reporting, cost accounting and overseeing of cost and schedule integration
- Partner with IPT members to execute baselining, Estimate to Completion (ETC), and change management processes.
- Ensure program EAC adherence to L3 Harris AC-13 and PMO-05 policies. Evaluate, make recommendations and implement corrective actions where gaps exist
- Perform risk assessments to identify and mitigate program cost and schedule risks
- Self-motivated and strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively work with people of all levels within the organization
- Ability to proactively solve complex problems and issues in a timely manner with limited supervision
- Strong sense of initiative, independence, closure, with ability to navigate multiple priorities within tight-deadlines
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering or related field and requires a minimum of 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and minimum of 7 years prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years prior related experience.
- Experience with SAP Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
- Demonstrated strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and highly proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Experience with EVM Engine software. Experience with an Accounting System of Record software.
- US citizenship required.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado State, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Vermont and New York State is $90K-$167K. For California, New Jersey, Seattle, Washington D.C., Maryland Greater Washington D.C. area, the city of Denver, Washington State and New York City, the salary range for this role is $103-$192K. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
