Job Description:
L3Harris Technologies is seeking fill an Inventory Management Support role in Norfolk, VA. The role will be responsible for performing the physical and administrative tasks to receive, store, distribute and ship materials, parts, supplies and equipment to support production line and custom assembly manufacturing activities.
Essential Functions:
- Receives incoming materials, unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices.
- Coordinates inventory management concerns within and outside the department on matters involving information sharing, explanation, or interpretation to understand and reach agreement.
- Perform inventory management tasks of moderate difficultly requiring efficiency and sound judgment.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent, and 4 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of material handling procedures and Environmental Health and Safety requirements.
- Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
- Intermediate Microsoft and computer knowledge
- Ability to operate a forklift and other powered industrial vehicles
- Ability to work under limited supervision.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite
- Costpoint or relevant MRP knowledge
