Job Description: 

This position is responsible for performing a variety of budetary, analysis, and general finance support tasks in the Budgets and Rates department. This is a support role dealing largely with customers who are other internal employees as well as external DCAA & DCMA auditors.  This role will be responsible for team collaboration and preparation of semi annual FPRP submittals, assisting with internal and external auditing requests, partnering with functional departments to prepare and monitor overhead budgets and rates, and preparation of monthly and annual reporting used to develop cost management decisions and government reporting. This position requires willingness to work as part of a team to meet or exceed deadlines.

Essential Functions: 

  • Proficient in EXCEL, HFM, and Costpoint reporting
  • Align indirect labor charging to streamline indirect charge numbers and allow for consistent and meaningful comparison of the charging and nature of the indirect tasks
  • Enhance reporting methods utilizing reporting tools (such as PowerBi) to facilitate meaningful and user-friendly cost monitoring
  • Update and maintain cost attributes in various reporting systems
  • Prepare variance analysis for monthly, quarterly and annual reporting
  • Prepare annual Perimter Cost report to facilitate analysis of controllable manufacturing costs
  • Maintain and update site procedures related to Budgets and Rates responsibilities
  • Other finance and administrative tasks will also be required

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in excel
  • Experienced in Costpoint and HFM or similar
  • Moderate understanding of indirect rate structures including multiple overhead pools, TCI G&A, Value Added G&A, fringe and understanding of treatment and allocation of intermediate overhead pools. 
  • Moderate knowledge of both the FAR and CAS to implement analysis and review of incurred costs thru submission and audit of incurred cost proposals. 
  • General compliance understanding to review and advise on CAS410 and CAS403 disclosure statement submission, audit and defense. 
  • Moderate understanding of establishing multiple department budgets for FPRP preparation, audit defense with DCMA/DCAA and cost monitoring reporting both internally and externally.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Graduate Degree in the above and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
