Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Delivery Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of product releases from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. The Delivery Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, software development, software quality assurance, product support and operations, to ensure seamless project execution. The Delivery Manager will work closely with the Product Manager/Owner to understand the overall roadmap and product plan, and will work directly with the product team(s) to plan product releases that meet roadmap and business targets. The Delivery Manager will coordinate and communicate with stakeholders regarding release details and product feedback. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and facilitation skills, will remove impediments and roadblocks, and will be accountable for successful product releases.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and implementation of project delivery strategies, including internal deliveries to project teams, business development and sales teams
- Facilitate product release planning and execution to deliver on product goals defined with the roadmap and product objectives.
- Ensure that all projects and product releases are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Work directly with Product Manager/Owner to understand project scopes and objectives, and ensure project scope is understood by the development team.
- Coordinate and communicate with all relevant stakeholders, sharing release details and ensuring product feedback is received by the team.
- Ensure projects based on the core product have appropriate support and
- Implement and adapt an Agile framework for the development team process.
- Closely track and monitor the progress of the development team toward release or project goals.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
- Measure project and team performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
- Report and escalate to management as needed.

- Project Management – the ability to track a project from start to finish, identifying and mitigating risks, clearing technical or process roadblocks, and ultimately ensuring successful delivery of project objectives.
- Leadership skills – knowing when to be directive and when to use influence
- Technical and product accument – the ability to develop a solid working understand of the product and its target market/customers, the product’s features and capabilities, and technical components that make up the product
- Communication, stakeholder management and client management – excellent communication, written and verbal, and the ability to communicate at multiple levels of the organization, both internally and externally
- Agile software development lifecycle – strong understanding of agile frameworks and methodologies, the ability to implement and adapt a development process, and the ability to monitor, track and report team progress
- Problem solving – An outside-of-the-box thinker who can create solutions to complex problems, and has the ability to iterate or experiment to make incremental progress
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field with a minimum 6 years prior relevant experience.
- Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience..
- Proven working experience in project management or as an agile scrum master.
- Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development, integration or related.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels of an organization
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools.
- Project Management and/or Agile Certified Scrum Master (CSM) training.
Preferred Skills, Experience and Education:
- Advanced project management and/or scrum master training, including having managed multiple teams in a scaled agile framework
