About your next Challenge as a Specialist, Systems Engineering:

What will you do:

 

  • Generate ILS deliverables from vendor data (FMECA, LSAR, LORA, RBD, Spares Analysis, Technical Manuals, Disposal Plan, Hazardous Materials Analysis, etc.).
  • Produce Logistics Support Analyses; sparing, initial provisioning, end of life extension analysis;
  • Lead the technical authoring of publications in S1000D format;
  • Development of ILS plan to meet the program needs;
  • Cary out Life Cycle Cost (LCC) and trade off analysis;
  • Development of life-cycle planning in support of in-service programs;
  • Performing component and system-level reliability calculations;
  • Carry out the integration of LSAR database in Omega PS tool

 

Required Skills and Experiences:

 

  • University degree in either engineering or computer science;
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in naval or aerospace ILS; a minimum of 5 years of experience in writing technical manuals in S1000D format;
  • Experience with Omega PS (or similar LSAR database) and Omega PS Analyzer (or similar LORA, LCC,  spares modelling) is an asset;
  • Knowledge of ASD 4000 suite of specifications (S1000D, S2000M, etc.);
  • Experience in performing various Logistics Engineering Analyses (LSAR, LORA, PHST, LCCA, Recommended Spare Parts Analysis, Hazard/Safety analysis, etc.);
  • Experience in performing various Reliability/Maintenance Engineering Analyses (RAM, FMECA, MTA, RCM, MIL-STD-217, FMECA (Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis), RBD (Reliability Block Diagrams);
  • Results-driven mindset, problem-solving skills and strong analytical skills;
  • Good working knowledge of the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project);
  • Excellent technical and presentation skills;
  • Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment while managing multiple priorities;
  • Must be meticulous and detail-oriented;
  • Bilingual (French and English) with proficient English writing and spoken skills. The English language, in addition to the French language, is necessary due to contractual requirements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

 

Eligibility Criteria (Mandatory):

  • Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada “Reliability” status and Level 2 (Secret) security clearance.
  • Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
