Title:  Senior Associate, Systems Engineering - Proposals

About your next Challenge as a Senior Associate, Systems Engineering - Proposals:

What will you do:

  • Analyze customer requirements and propose a high-level solution;
  • Define statement of work for internal department estimation;
  • Prepare technical proposals;
  • Ensure compliance to customer requirements;
  • Estimate implementation material costs;
  • Prepare specifications for potential subcontractors;
  • Manage technical and cost inputs from subcontractors and internal departments;
  • Present solution and costs to senior management or customers;
  • Provide technical support to Marketing;
  • Provide technical marketing support in the field (demonstrations, presentations) with prospective customers and at industry conferences/events.

 

Required Skills and Experiences:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering;
  • Experience with naval industry is preferable;
  • Good working knowledge of the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project);
  • Capable of working under pressure with tight deadlines;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and works well as part of a multidisciplinary team;
  • Able to communicate with all levels of management;
  • Excellent English writing and presentation skills;
  • Working knowledge of the German language (an asset);
  • The knowledge of the English language, other than the French language is necessary due to contractual requirements.

 

Eligibility Criteria (Mandatory):

  • Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2 / NATO Secret security clearance.
  • Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
