About your next Challenge as a Proposals Senior Specialist:

What will you do:

• As part of the proposal team, the role involves working closely with functional groups to develop optimized and cost effective solutions that meets customers requirement.
• Manage the proposal and bid schedule from bid/no bid decision until delivery of the proposal which entails presenting the solution and cost to senior leadership.
• Provide technical support to business development team (customer meetings, conferences, etc.)
  
  

The role shall also require providing engineering support for the following:

• Design solutions for marine/comms/power business units;
• Design electrical and mechanical systems
• Prepare and perform test plans with customers.
  
  

International travel may be occasionally required (customer support, demos, and industry conferences).

Required Skills and Experiences:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
• Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience
• Deployment experience in power simulators and marine trainers is an asset
• Demonstrated leadership in project engineering
• Able to deliver technical solutions as part of proposals and in engineering
• Able to interface with customers in order to deliver projects on time and on budget
• Bilingual (French and English). Proficient in English writing and presentation. The knowledge of the English language, other than the French language is necessary due to contractual requirements.
• Team-focused and result-oriented.

Eligibility Criteria (Mandatory):

• Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada “Reliability” status and Level 2 (Secret) security clearance.
• Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
