Job Description:
Procurement Professional with extensive knowledge of supply chain and procurement, and broad knowledge of project management. This role manages complex procurements and projects, often supporting multiple Government Programs, and involves interpreting and communicating policies, procedures, and practices to internal and external customers. The position requires professional judgment, adherence to established procedures, and the application of supply chain/procurement principles, with work performed under general oversight.
Essential Functions:
- Performs fundamental procurement activities including acquisition of materials, components and services at realistic and competitive prices, which meet schedule, safety and quality standards according to FAR/DFARS.
- Performs price/cost analysis.
- Provides proposal support
- Government buying experience and familiarity with FAR/DFARS requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant subcontracts experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience subcontracts experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related subcontracts experience
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Knowledge of supply chain management, lean manufacturing, assembly and ATP processes.
- Working capability in the use of typical office computer programs for conduct of program management such as MS PowerPoint (presentations, logic diagrams), MS Project (basic scheduling), MS Excel (entering formulas, graphing, developing spreadsheets), and MS Word (tables, program plans).
- Experience in supporting supplier contracts above the TINA ($2M) with minimal guidance.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $79,000.00 - $147,000.00. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, and Vermont is $69,500.00 - $128,500.00. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
