Job Description:
We are looking for a Lead, Finance who is an experienced professional with proficient and practical knowledge of Oracle Financials and SQL. Our ideal candidate is a motivated problem-solver who can communicate effectively within various teams, has both technical and functional skills, and has an eye for detail. This current opening may be filled at this level as posted or at one level higher.
Essential Functions:
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Financials (On Premise release 12) including Projects (billing, revenue, capital), Oracle Time and Labor, Payables, Assets, Receivables, E-Business Tax, Project Contracts, Human Resources and General Ledger modules
- Support business community. Analyzes issues. Defines and writes requirements for solutions.
- Serves as a liaison between business and IT department
- Loads data, supports interfaces, configuration, system customizations, patching/upgrades, testing, and training as needed
- Write SQL queries against Oracle database. Understanding of Oracle tables.
- Performs special projects and other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant finance experience, or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years related finance experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of related finance experience
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Experience with transactional accounting and billing experience in a Federal Government contractor environment
- Strong attention to detail, goal oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
- Ability to work autonomously
- Experience with reporting tools such as Power Bi and/or Qlik
- Experience with Concur Travel and Expense software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $105,500 - $196,500. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, and Vermont is $91,500 - $170,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
