Job Description:
The Sr Specialist, Talent Management (Talent Partner) is responsible for holistically deploying core talent management, performance management, engagement & retention, and learning & development programs and solutions to assigned Communication Systems (CS) business sectors and functions. Partnering closely with aligned HR Business Partner (HRBP) customers, the talent partner will assess talent needs and capabilities, aligning appropriate strategies to advance business outcomes, measure and meet KPIs and enhance execution locally. Programs include but are not limited to talent reviews, succession planning, performance management, engagement action planning, inclusion actions, career development, and leadership development programs.
Essential Functions:
- Act as the segment subject matter expert (SME) with proficient knowledge of a select talent management field, as assigned.
- Act as a single point of contact for talent programming to aligned HR customers and in accordance with business needs.
- Provide innovative solutions/recommendations, coaching, education, direction and support to customers based on subject matter expertise, business needs, trends observed, data, opportunities, goals, etc.
- Manage complex project initiatives with minimal oversight or direction.
- Use data and analytics to support informed decisions about talent management practices and to measure effectiveness.
- Facilitate talent management related forums to stakeholders.
- Develop executive ready materials including charts/graphs, inclusive visuals, and completed staff work, gain peer review and manager support with minimal rework necessary
- Collaborate with CHQ, and Segment Talent Management Center of Excellence (COE) teams to enhance alignment and share best practices; Leverage COE team to support business, drive efficiencies, elevate talent strategies and influence across Segment.
- Create, uphold and comply with standard processes and timelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience in an HR business partner or talent management capacity. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Experience using data analytics, dashboards, and platforms such as Power BI.
- Work consists of making moderate improvements of processes, systems, solutions, or products to enhance performance of job area.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office products including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills.
- Experience owning talent management programs to include performance management, learning & development, leadership development, succession planning, and strategic talent management consultation.
- Experience acting as a strategic business partner in an HR capacity.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and organize tasks for effective, efficient, and timely implementation; ability to meet accelerated deadlines and timeframes.
- Proven ability to prioritize and follow up on project plan/tasks with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge in analyzing subsets of data to help identify both talent challenges and solutions for the business.
- Business acumen and application aligning to HR strategies.
- Ability to accomplish goals working through formal and informal channels, with diplomacy and tactfulness with individual contributors through leadership.Initiates Action: Takes prompt action to accomplish work goals and to achieve results beyond what is required.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, and Vermont is $71,500 - $132,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
