Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled an experienced, Level 6 (Principal) Supply Chain Management candidate to join our team. This multifaceted role involves leading the development and management of supply chain training, establishing and operationalizing supply chain risk management processes, and overseeing the supply chain implementation of a new contract lifecycle management (CLM) tool across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of supply chain processes, compliance requirements, and project management, with excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for employee upskilling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supply Chain Training Development and Management:
- Lead the creation, consolidation, organization, enhancement, and management of comprehensive supply chain training programs.
- Plan, conduct, and perform gap analysis of skill surveys for supply chain professionals.
- Ensure all training programs comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Communicate effectively with employees at all levels to promote training initiatives and foster a culture of continuous learning.
- Ability to travel up to 15%.
- Supply Chain Risk Management:
- Develop, establish, and operationalize the supply chain risk management process at Corporate Headquarters (CHQ).
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the stability and efficiency of the supply chain.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals and objectives.
- Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) Tool Implementation:
- Define the project plan and execute the implementation of a new CLM tool for enterprise-wide use by supply chain teams.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Understand the need for segment resource allocation for project completion.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation and provide regular status reports to stakeholders.
- Assist with training when the CLM tool is ready for deployment.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and requirements related to contract management in the defense industry, including FAR, DFAR, CUI, and export-rated documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 12 years or a Masters degree and 10 years of prior relevant experience in supply chain management, training development, risk management, and project management.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Deep understanding of supply chain processes, compliance, and best practices.
- Familiarity with contract management regulations in the defense industry (e.g., FAR, DFAR, CUI, export-rated documentation).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform gap analysis and develop actionable plans.
- A degree in Supply Chain Management from an accreddited univerity
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in designing and delivering training programs.
- Passion for employee development and talent upskilling.
- Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York state is $103,000 - $191,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
