Job Description:

Provide enterprise Windows and Linux server and desktop system administration, configuration, management, maintenance, and troubleshooting for secure program areas. RMF duties to include ugrading OSs and applicable application upgrades, applying patches, and updating security tools. Install,  configure, and troubleshoot complex engineering and develope Powershell Script for automating systems. Configure, support, and troubleshoot Virtual and storage technologies. Perform other IT duties as required.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Maintain, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, Windows servers and applications. 
  • Install/integrate and maintain complex software and hardware as required to support the DOD secure areas.
  • Ability to create, and modify Powershell scripts to assist with automation of areas. 
  • Coordinate with IT Security as needed to identify, document, and resolve system vulnerabilities. 
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to understand program requirements and deliver tailored technical solutions.
  • Communicate complex technical issues and strategies to management and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
  • Current/active Secret Clearance.

 

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Ability to get CompTIa Security + CE within 6 months of hire.
  • Capable of safely performing a two-person lift as part of job duties, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and guidelines.
  •  Powershell Scripting
  • SQL database experience
  • Able to effectively commicate to the DoD engineering/program/security community
  • Experience with CommVault
  • Experience with Risk Management Framework processes
  • Strong troubleshooting skillsStrong knowledge of Windows Active Directory (AD).
  • Understanding of Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
  • Experience with VMware or similar virtualization software.
