Job Description:
The Enterprise Services and Strategy (ESS) is responsible for supporting all aspects of IT financial management within the IT organization. This role involves support to the IT Financial Management (ITFM) function is dedicated to optimizing the financial performance of IT services and investments, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, providing transparency into IT costs, and delivering value to internal and external stakeholders. This position would ensure that the organization manages IT resources efficiently, identifies and realizes cost-saving opportunities, and supports strategic decision-making with accurate and insightful financial analysis for the overall success of L3Harris.
As the Senior Manager in IT Enterprise Services and Strategy team, you will be responsible for setting the direction for managing the company's IT financial management. You will lead a team of analysts and specialists in tracking, analyzing, and forecasting IT spend while ensuring alignment with the company's financial and strategic objectives. This role will require a proactive approach to stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements that could impact IT spend management. The Senior Manager role requires a high degree of leadership and the ability to influence and drive change at a senior level within the organization.
Essential Functions:
- Set strategic goals for IT spend management and lead the team to achieve these objectives.
- Develop and implement advanced financial models to predict long-term IT costs and identify risks, opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Lead internal discussions, meetings to secure enterprise alignment and optimize spend.
- Establish and refine IT procurement and management policies in collaboration with IT and procurement leadership.
- Drive cross-functional initiatives to align spend with business needs and IT strategy.
- Provide executive-level reporting and insights on IT spend, including recommendations for strategic decision-making.
- Lead efforts in risk management and compliance related to investments.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and cost optimization within the team and across the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 12 years’ experience leading global initiatives; Graduate Degree with a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial analysis and management, with extensive expertise in IT expenditure management.

- Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning and financial forecasting, providing clear direction and measurable results.
- Proven track record of successful vendor negotiations, achieving significant cost reduction initiatives and improving vendor relationships.
- Exceptional leadership qualities, with a strong focus on developing and mentoring high-performing teams.
- Mastery of advanced financial software, databases, and data visualization tools to enhance decision-making processes.
- Outstanding communication skills, adept at engaging stakeholders and presenting complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $137,000-254,000. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, and Vermont is $119,000-$221,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
