This role sits at the intersection of finance, strategy, and communications—translating company performance into compelling narratives for the investment community. This highly visible position offers direct exposure to the CEO, CFO, and other senior executives, as well as regular engagement with institutional investors and sell-side analysts.
The role blends financial and accounting acumen with strategic communications skills and a strong analytical mindset. You will dive deep into the drivers of company performance, analyze peer and market trends, and develop insights that shape how L3Harris is positioned externally.

Essential Functions:
- Partner with finance and business leaders to understand financial results, performance drivers, and key business initiatives.
- Develop and refine investor-facing materials, including quarterly earnings scripts, presentations, press releases, and Board updates.
- Conduct market-based analysis: trading performance, investor sentiment, peer benchmarking, and competitive intelligence.
- Create supporting financial models and data visualizations to substantiate external messaging.
- Coordinate and participate in investor conferences, non-deal roadshows, and analyst meetings.
- Manage and update investor content on the corporate website and other channels.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure consistent, accurate, and compelling messaging.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in investor relations, equity research, corporate finance, or a related analytical/communications role.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency with financial statements and modeling.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information for diverse audiences.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools; experience with IR platforms a plus.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
- Defense industry knowledge is preferred but not required.
