Job Description:

The Surveillance & Automated Solutions Division is currently seeking a Program Financial Analyst (PFA) to join our team in support of the Voice Switch and Control System (VSCS) program. This role will be responsible for partnering with Program Managers, and cross-functional teams to provide financial leadership across program planning, execution, and performance measurement. This position will perform monthly Earned Value, quarterly EACs, and monthly financial risk and opportunity assessment for Orders, Sales, Profit, and Cash.

We are seeking a proactive, self-starter with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.  Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to be able to collaborate with key functional stakeholders. Ideal candidate must be detail oriented with good organizational skills and capable of multi-tasking and the ability to work with minimal day-to-day supervision. Successful candidates will demonstrate an aptitude for efficiency, problem-solving, and resourcefulness, with a commitment to quality while developing their leadership skills as a key business partner.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Preparation of Earned Value (EVMS) reporting deliverables, variance analysis for both internal management and customer.
  • Change management, EAC analysis and reporting
  • Orders, Revenue, Operating Income, and PWC forecasting and analysis
  • Preparing financial analysis including Estimate at completion, variance, risk and profit/loss analyses, etc.
  • Monitor and report on program budgets, spending, and funding requirements, ensuring compliance with allocated budgets.
  • Ensure financial practices comply with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
  • Provide audit support and other requests for information.    
  • Support pricing and cost proposal development for new business opportunities.
  • Experience using PeopleSoft, COBRA, Hyperion, and advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to obtain a FAA Public Trust Security Clearance. 

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.

 

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability/desire to mentor junior team members.
  • Previous experience with PeopleSoft and EVMS including COBRA
  • Experience working in a deadline driven environment, where accountability and attention to detail are critical
  • Strong planning, organizational, and analytical skills; be self-directed, proactive, and strong written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with contracts such as CPAF, CPIF, CPFF, T&M, FFP, etc.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and highly proficient with Microsoft Excel
