Job Description:

The Assured Mission Networks (AMN) Division is seeking a Senior Manager, Program Finance to play a visible leadership role supporting a critical business area within a fast-paced defense environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance leader who wants to influence strategy, shape business outcomes, and develop high-performing teams while partnering closely with Program Management and cross-functional leaders.

In this role, you will serve as a trusted business partner to program and division leadership, helping drive financial performance across numerous large and varied programs with the focus on achieving AOP financial objects for Orders, Sales, Profit and Cash. You will lead a team of Program Finance Analysts, strengthen financial planning and execution, and provide the insight needed to support program health, operational excellence, and long-term growth. Essential Functions: 

• Lead, direct and review the work of a team of Program Finance Analysts, fostering a collaborative, growth-oriented culture focused on performance, accountability, and career development
• Partner with Program Management and cross-functional teams to establish and maintain program financial plans aligned with strategic and operational objectives
• Drive financial strategy and execution across programs, with focus on Orders, Revenue, Profit, and Cash Flow
• Own and oversee core program finance deliverables, including external customer reporting and internal financial forecasts
• Assess and quantify cost / schedule / technical status and risk, evaluate program trends, and help derive cost completion estimates
• Lead development of quarterly EACs and weekly, monthly and quarterly financial performance reports
• Monitor program performance and interpret financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities early
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to leadership to improve program financial outcomes and mitigate risk
• Advise program teams on adherence to finance policies and the support of internal and external audits
• Contribute to new business efforts by helping shape financial strategies and business case structures for pursuits
• Manage summary financial forecasts to identify most likely financial outcomes as well as capturing risks and opportunities relative to that forecast
• Help forecast major aspects of working capital such as cash flow, inventory, accounts receivables, and unbilled or deferred revenue

 Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 12 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• 3+ years of functional management experience with direct reports
• 5+ years of Program Finance experience in the defense / aerospace industry
• Strong experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
• Experience with COBRA, Hyperion, and Peoplesoft
• Experience supporting U.S. Government FAR-based programs
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Working knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards and Federal Acquisition Regulations
