Job Description:
Under the general guidance of the Data & Strategy Internal Audit Manager:
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and reviewing digital solutions including Power BI, Alteryx, Snowflake, and Power Automate. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong analytical mindset and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven insights and solutions. Key responsibilities include supporting technical research, ensuring data integrity, and developing data insights based on department metrics and audit trends. Additionally, they will help define project scope and direction, update existing dashboards and automations, foster new digital talents, and effectively communicate results to project stakeholders and audit leadership.
Essential Functions:
· Primary point of contact for all Business Intelligence and Data Analytics support needs for the CHQ Internal Audit Team
· Create innovative data models & visualizations to be used for project planning, department metrics tracking, and audit testing support
· Work with the audit team and other members in the organization to build dashboards and reports that can scale to support various levels of end users
· Foster a data-driven culture by designing automations and analytics to identify trends, areas of opportunity and/or to predict outcomes
· Identify opportunities for standardized reports and automated dashboards, and work with individual audit teams to plan, develop, and implement them
· Document standard operating procedures and user guides for tools available
· Be a continuous problem solver, with an innovative mindset, and a desire for continued self-improvement
· Interact with a wide variety of people with tact, courtesy, and professionalism
· Maintain a regular, dependable attendance and a consistently high level of performance
· Keeps abreast of company policies and procedures, current developments in data analytics
· Travel up to 10% including some international locations
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
· 1+ year experience creating digital solutions/models including automations, analytics, or artificial intelligence
Preferred Additional Skills:
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate effectively with a variety of levels and positions in the organization
· Self-motivated and diligent who is also capable of working effectively in a team environment
· Public Accounting or industry internal audit experience
· Knowledge of audit processes will streamline team integration
· Completion of the Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate certification
· Completion of the Alteryx Designer Core Certification
· Ability to navigate ambiguity and simplify complexity
· Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
· Proactive and confident managing competing project deadlines
· Experience creating compelling presentations using data visualization software (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
· Experience in automations or robotics software (Alteryx, UiPath, Blue Prism etc.)
· Understanding of data warehouse solutions and ability to decipher SQL is a plus
· Organization, prioritization and customer service skills to effectively follow-up on complex and detailed work activities
· Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and excellent verbal and written communication skills
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado State, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Vermont and New York State is $56,500 - $105,500. For California, Seattle, Washington D.C., Maryland Greater Washington D.C. area, the city of Denver, Washington State and New York City, the salary range for this role is $65,500 - $121,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
