Job Description:
L3Harris is searching for highly experienced Information Security Systems Engineering (ISSE) professionals to join the L3Harris Network Security Engineering Team supporting managed network infrastructures for federal government and other customers. This role is part of the business development team working on bringing new business and new technologies to the company. It will be a dynamic environment and you will be responsible for developing the security architecture for managed networks on new programs and pursuits.
This position is ONSITE and located at L3Harris offices located in Melbourne, Florida. This position requires the ABILITY to obtain FAA Public Trust and Top Secret Clearance.
Essential Functions:
- Lead Security Systems Engineering efforts on new business pursuits responsible for developing architecture, selecting new products, and developing cost estimates to implement solutions.
- Develop proposal documentation and Basis of Estimates (BOEs).
- Provide expertise and guidance to current programs and Internal Research and Development (IRAD) teams working on cutting edge technologies to establish L3Harris as a leader in Information Security.
- Develop, maintain and publish network security technical documentation in accordance with L3Harris Systems Engineering processes.
- Be a thought leader driving new ideas and technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 12 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.
- Experience with Networking technologies.
- Experience with developing security architectures.
- Experience with application and compliance of customer tailored NIST and FISMA controls and policies.
- Experience in AI driven Security Solutions.
- Cloud Architecture expertise as related to Information Security.
- Experience writing proposals and developing BOEs.
- CISSP and CCNA/CCNP certifications are required.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Must be a self-starter with ability to manage projects on their own with little direction.
- A&A planning and management experience (preferably USAF, other DoD may be fine) for large SOS solutions including experience with TEMPEST assessments.
- CompTIA Security+ , and other related certifications.
- Current Top Secret Clearance.
- Influencer or contributor to the Information Security Technical Community.
