Essential Functions:
L3Harris Technologies Mission Networks sector is seeking a Specialist Program Finance (PFA) and Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst in Melbourne, FL. This position will be a combined role responsible for managing, preparing, administering, and directing cost control of the budget for programs and serving as the deputy FP&A analyst supporting the Sector lead. This position will report to the Sr Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis for the sector. Responsibilities include:
- Maintain the financial plan for assigned programs, including performing earned-value analysis and preparing customer reports.
- Collaborate with Program Management, FP&A, Accounting, functional support departments, and customers as the primary source of all financial information for all assigned programs.
- Prepare monthly forecasts for Orders, Sales, Operating Income, Cash Flow, and Working Capital
- Serve as the financial expert for programs, alerting management to potential issues, identifying risks, and proposing solutions
- Prepare accurate and complete variance analyses with explanations and corrective actions.
- Provide financial analysis for audits and other ad hoc financial activities.
- Ability to work with multiple contract types
- Serves as primary contact for all Division FP&A activities
- Support identification and monitoring of Risk and Opportunities to Orders, Sales, Op Income and Free Cash Flow at the Division level
- The deputy FP&A Support Analyst is also involved in AOP/JSP activities, HFM/HypFcst data tie-outs, and other ad hoc requests from Accounting, Compliance, and other functional teams.
- Help drive working capital improvements through the reduction of inventory, unbilled, and accounts receivable
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members, connect with leadership in a timely manner, and clearly and effectively share information using oral and written communication skills
- Drive operational efficiencies through commitment to the e3 culture
- Assists with ad hoc requests and special projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
- Ability to obtain US Government Security Clearance
