Job Description:

The Principal PeopleSoft Architect will be a highly experienced and strategic leader, driving the overall PeopleSoft architecture strategy and roadmap for the organization. You will be responsible for designing and implementing complex, enterprise-wide PeopleSoft solutions that align with business objectives, optimize performance, and ensure scalability and robustness. You will lead architectural innovations, evaluate emerging technologies, and collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver transformative PeopleSoft solutions.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication: Define project scope with stakeholders, effectively communicate designs, prioritize requests, and act as a liaison between IT and the business.
  • Supplier Management: Guide and manage the performance of the managed service provider to ensure alignment with organizational goals and service-level agreements.
  • Architectural Design and Strategy: Set the long-term strategic roadmap for PeopleSoft and implement complex PeopleSoft solutions including system upgrades, enhancements, patches, and new business units.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build strong internal & external customer relationships by aligning system solutions to meet our changing business requirements.
  • Technical Leadership and Team Guidance: Provide leadership to the development and functional teams.
  • Technical Support and Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to PeopleSoft and integrations across systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 12 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.
  • 10 years of experience in ERP architecture and implementation, with a focus on PeopleSoft. This includes a proven track record of leading complex projects with a mastery knowledge of PeopleSoft architecture and data structures.

  • Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking: Identifying and resolving challenges.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in NYC areas is $119,000-$221,000. The salary range for this role in New York state, $137,000-$254,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
