Job Description:
The Program Delivery Lead for the SAP Applications IT Organization will oversee status on system enhancements and project delivery. Responsibilities include: collaboration with cross-functional teams, monitoring, documentation and communication of status for enhancements and IT projects, serving as a liaison to Segment business relationship managers to understand business priorities.
Essential Functions:
- Lead oversight of application system enhancements and IT project delivery for the SAP Applications organization, ensuring alignment with business priorities, timelines, and operational objectives.
- Monitor and communicate status of enhancement requests, project milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and deliverables to stakeholders and leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business stakeholders, developers, analysts, and project managers, to drive execution and resolve delivery challenges.
- Serve as a liaison with Segment Business Relationship Managers and other business leaders to understand priorities, demand, and strategic objectives, and translate them into actionable plans.
- Coordinate intake, prioritization, tracking, and governance of application enhancements and project requests across multiple teams and functions.
- Develop and maintain project and operational documentation, including status reports, action logs, meeting notes, process documentation, roadmaps, and delivery metrics.
- Facilitate regular reviews with stakeholders to provide transparency into work progress, upcoming milestones, and areas requiring escalation or decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes, reporting, communication practices, and operational effectiveness across the Enterprise Applications organization.
- Promote strong collaboration and accountability across teams to ensure successful delivery of application and project commitments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Minimum of 9 years of experience in program delivery, IT project management, application delivery, business systems support, or operational leadership.
- Demonstrated experience overseeing application enhancements, project execution, and delivery status reporting in a complex business and IT environment.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, software development lifecycle, and application enhancement delivery processes.
- Experience coordinating across cross-functional teams and managing competing priorities.
- Proven ability to track, monitor, and communicate application delivery status, including risks, issues, dependencies, and key milestones.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess business needs and support development of effective delivery plans and solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to tailor messaging for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships and influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
- Experience in IT Support of ERP Applications, a plus
- Experience serving as a liaison between business stakeholders, business relationship managers, and IT delivery teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish trusted partnerships with Corporate HQ, Segment, sector, and division leadership.
- Experience with portfolio reporting, project dashboards, status communications, and governance processes.
- Familiarity with application enhancement tracking, demand management, and release planning practices.
- Experience driving process improvements and implementing structured delivery and reporting frameworks.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of operational processes, tools, and organizational priorities.
- Experience with both Waterfall and Agile project delivery methodologies.
- Proficiency with project tracking and collaboration tools used to manage delivery status, actions, and documentation.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C. area, Denver, or NYC areas is $116,500 - $216,500. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, Vermont and Virginia is $101,500 - $188,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
