Job Description:
Responsible for providing comprehensive technical support, maintenance, and optimization of the organization’s Human Resources and Payroll platforms. Act as a key liaison between HR, Payroll, and Information Technology, translating business needs into effective system solutions and technical designs that support operational efficiency to meet the broader business goals.
Essential Functions:
- Serve as the primary HRIT liaison for HR and Payroll teams, providing expert-level support, system insights, and technical solutions across HCM platforms.
- Collaborate with MSP partners, internal IT, and business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into detailed technical designs and configuration specifications.
- Investigate, analyze, and resolve system issues, data discrepancies, and process gaps, ensuring timely remediation and root-cause prevention.
- Develop and maintain frameworks, standards, and best practices for system enhancements, integrations, and technical change management.
- Architect scalable, maintainable, and secure system solutions that meet current and future business needs.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, configuration guides, integration mappings, and implementation plans.
- Identify potential technical risks, performance issues, and system constraints, implementing mitigation strategies to ensure platform stability and continuity.
- Manage and support system maintenance cycles—including releases, upgrades, patches, and regression testing—to ensure consistent and reliable system performance.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process automation, workflow optimization, and system enhancements to improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, security protocols, data privacy regulations, and retention standards across all HCM system components.
- Maintain strong internal controls and proper segregation of duties within system roles, access permissions, and configuration activities.
- Support end‑users by diagnosing issues, coordinating resolutions, and enhancing system knowledge through documentation and training, when required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years prior experience or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior experience In lieu of degree, minimum 13 years of prior experience.
- 5+ years of experience in HRIT with strong HR system experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- In-depth knowledge of HCM platforms, programing language & PeopleSoft HR 9.2.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical users
- Experience collaborating with teams of developers and managing consecutive IT projects
- Proficient in programming language SQR
- Ability to align technical solutions with business goals
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism
