Job Description:  

L3Harris is a leader in providing advanced technology solutions, and we are currently seeking a proactive and motivated Network Control Intern to join our operations center team. This internship will offer hands-on experience in network management, monitoring, and troubleshooting within a dynamic 24x7 network control environment.

Essential Functions:  

Monitor and analyze network problems using network management and monitoring tools.
Respond to network alarms to minimize disruptions and impact on end users.
Assist in root cause analysis and contribute to developing action plans for service restoration.
Collaborate with L3Harris teams and external telecommunication partners to optimize operational processes and restoration times.
Participate in coordination with User Community, Field Services Group, and telecommunication partners for Break/Fix actions and Change Management activities.
Document Trouble Tickets and Change Requests related to network activities.

Qualifications:  

Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology with a focus on Networking, Cybersecurity, or related field.

Preferred Skills: 

Basic understanding of L1 through L4 of the OSI Model.
Familiarity with LAN/WAN/MAN technologies.
Knowledge of Incident, Change, and Problem Management practices is beneficial.
Certifications such as CCENT, CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA, or ITIL v3/4
