Job Description
We are looking for a highly organized, self-driven Director, Supply Chain Project Management who can advance LHX NeXt Supply Chain initiatives and support achievement of LHX NeXt goals and objectives. This position reports to the Senior Director of CHQ Supply Chain and is part of the corporate supply chain team.
The Senior Program Manager for Supply Chain provides a critical role in orchestrating the savings initiatives and objectives. The Senior Program Manager is responsible for the governance, program oversight, executive communications, stakeholder engagement, performance & metrics, transformation coordination, change enablement and audit support.
Responsibilities
- Governance: Enforces standardized methodologies, tools, and templates to ensure consistent program execution and reporting. Develops governance for new or changing situations, as needed. Provides training and support to new team members to ensure strong governance adherence.
- Project Management: Manages a pipeline of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and program objectives. Provides input into Supply Chain master schedule as needed.
- Executive Communications: Facilitates bi-weekly LHX NeXt Supply Chain Council meetings to set the agenda and work with stakeholders to prepare content. Develops communications to report out on progress and escalate concerns. Prepares content for other executive channels including, but not limited to, Board Meetings, Monthly CEO & CFO Reviews, Monthly Operating Reviews (MORs), Quarterly Functional Reviews (QFRs), and Segment Leadership updates.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Partners with segment leadership, functional leaders, and program teams to drive accountability, resolve escalations, and ensure stakeholder buy-in. Holds regular cadence of meetings with key stakeholders to ensure teams are aligned with initiative objectives, expectations, timing and savings assumptions.
- Performance & Metrics: Collaborates with CHQ leadership to align on annual KPIs, goals and other success metrics; monitors progress, identify variances, and lead corrective actions to ensure execution as planned.
- Transformation Coordination: Collaborates with Finance and Continuous Improvement Organizations to ensure coordination of initiatives and joint reporting.
- Change Enablement: Leads change management efforts by integrating communication plans, developing upskilling strategies, and program rollouts for program initiatives.
- Audit Support: Supports responses to internal and DMCA related audits related to program initiatives, providing details of initiatives and evidence of adherence to governance process.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in and 15 years experience or graduate degree and 13 years related experience in supply chain management, project management, consulting or operations strategy.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 19 years related experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- MBA or graduate degree in related field desired
- Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, defense sectors a plus
- 5+ years of experience in program management, consulting, or operations strategy
- Advanced in Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
- Proven success working in a cross-functional environment with multiple stakeholders
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and meet deadlines that require frequent communication, organization/time management, and problem-solving skills
- Strategic thinker with a bias for execution
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving clarity
- Emotionally intelligent leader who builds trust and alignment across diverse teams
