Job Description:

 

L3Harris is looking for a highly motivated and driven Director of Program Management to oversee a $40M portfolio. The focus areas include rapid response solutions, advanced packaging, and photonic/acoustic sensing for classified customers. The ideal candidate should have strong program management skills, a growth mindset, and experience managing programs in high-complexity, highly dynamic environments. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge solutions and make a significant impact within the Advanced Systems business area.

 

Essential Functions:

 

• Collaborate with multiple internal and external customers to ensure program success
• Lead the Program Management Office (PMO) and functional teams in growing, capturing, and executing the Advanced Systems business area
• Responsible for ensuring the management of the cost, schedule, and technical performance requirements of the release systems portfolio of programs through all phases from inception to completion
• Direct the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budget, and financial terms/conditions of contracts
• Involved in defining program parameters or guiding internal research and development efforts in the assigned field
• Work with customers to determine needs, requirements, and new business opportunities
• Solve highly complex problems with significant business impact
• Responsible for the overall development and management of the financial forecasts and strategic planning of the business area

 

Qualifications:

 

Active Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance
• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 15 years of prior related experience; Or, Graduate Degree with a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience; Or, in lieu of a degree, minimum of 19 years of prior related experience
