Job Description:

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a talented Data Manager and Configuration Management to support the development and deployment of systems and services. As a Data Manager, you will be working to help support the global space and airborne aviation community with advanced systems and services that significantly increase the safety, security and capacity of global air traffic management systems to meet the growing demand of air transportation operations.

Data Management is responsible for all tracking aspects of document development and control, to include but not limited to, review, approval and delivery to the customer. The role involves planning, managing, and reporting on documentation created to fulfill customer configuration requirements and supporting Contract Data Requirement List (CDRL) technical editing activities.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Stage, monitor and maintain control of master copies of program documentation. Responsible for staging, logging, filing and tracking all necessary drawings, documents, lists, procedures, correspondence and various other items.
  • Ensure all peer reviews for documentation have occurred prior to submitting to the SignIt approval system.
  • Assist with formatting, comment incorporation, receipt, delivery, closure, and archiving of all CDRL items.
  • Maintain the program’s data library.
  • Assist in documenting and tracking all aspects of hardware and/or software development and modification.
  • May structure and maintain databases; verifies authorization for and incorporates all changes or additions to them.
  • Maintain program CDRL schedule and produce CDRL status reports monthly for both internal and external customers. Generate a variety of standard reports. Perform monthly status accounting and metrics.
  • Participate in audits to verify compliance with contract requirements.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an FAA Public Trust clearance

 

Qualifications:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. 

 

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including Excel formulas.
  • Experience utilizing Data Management toolsets to manage document baselines.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong time management ability and sense of urgency in meeting critical deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a customer-service mindset.
  • User experience with CM/DM toolsets (PDM, ClearQuest, ClearCase, JIRA, SharePoint, Adobe, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Teams).
