Job Description:

Under the direction of the Facilities Manager the Preventative Maintenance Coordinator develops, documents, and establishes the preventative maintenance of all facility industrial equipment (machines) and utility systems, including, but not limited to, refrigeration, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), steam, condensate, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical systems using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (M-Pulse). The Preventative Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for the accurate and timely collection of equipment data and ensures data is recorded in M-Pulse in a well-organized manner so it can be easily retrieved and utilized to facilitate maintenance of the systems. The Preventative Maintenance Coordinator works closely with the Facilities Manager, implementing, and monitoring preventive maintenance programs for all the industrial equipment and utility systems, components, and equipment. The Preventative Maintenance Coordinator reviews manufacturer’s operation manuals to determine optimum frequency of preventative maintenance. 
 

Essential Functions:

  • The Preventative Maintenance Coordinator reviews manufacturer’s operation manuals to determine optimum frequency of preventative maintenance.
  • The Preventative Maintenance Coordinator works closely with Facilities Manager and Supervisor to distribute preventative maintenance work, collect and compile data regarding the performance of preventative maintenance, routinely evaluate the preventative maintenance program (task frequency, completion rate, timeliness, performance results, etc.) and recommend adjustments or improvements to the program.
  • The Preventative Maintenance Coordinator works closely with the Projects Technician to collect data regarding new construction, renovation, or other projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience OR Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
  • 2 years or more experience in working from prints, drawings and verbal instructions, familiarity with environmental, health and safety regulations.
  • 2 years or more experience demonstrating excellent organizational, communication, computer and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be a United States Citizen.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • The position may involve lifting of materials up to 30 pounds, climbing ladders, and working in various environmental conditions.
  • Preferred Educational Background: Engineering Bachelors or Associates degree.
