Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Assembly D (Advanced Level) professional to join our Sensors Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing production tasks for a wide variety of cryo-cooler sub-assemblies, utilizing equipment such as CNC Lathes, high-precision measuring tools, and laser welders. The work is conducted in a climate-controlled laboratory, occasionally requiring optical magnification. This is a first-shift position with flexible start times.

Essential Functions:

• Complete assigned manufacturing process steps for cryo-cooler assemblies and sub-assemblies for customer deliverables.
• Determine and/or follow methods and sequences of operations in performing assembly production operations.
• Comprehend and interpret a variety of technical specifications, terms, and documents.
• Understand and follow appropriate manufacturing instructions and safety procedures.
• Support group objectives for on-time delivery.
• Adhere to industry standards or practices for 6S.
• Work independently and collaboratively with a team.
• Provide regular status reports on work in progress.

Qualifications:

• Requires highly developed job knowledge and skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or a 2-year post-secondary/Associate's Degree with a minimum of 4 years of related experience.
• Proficient computer skills, including email and Microsoft Office.
• Working knowledge of CNC Lathe operations and the use of precision instruments.
• Ability to read and follow drawings and work instructions.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a diverse, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Strong interpersonal relationship skills.
• Experience with laser welding.
• Eagerness to learn new processes.
• Experience in ESD/FOD and/or clean room environments.
• Familiarity with CNC lathe software.
• Safety-oriented mindset.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a workstation as needed.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods while operating machinery.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds at times.
