Job Description:

Seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) focused on Infrared (IR) sensor development and production. This role is responsible for driving cross-functional teams to achieve program objectives related to budget, schedule, technical performance, and quality. The ideal candidate combines strong program execution discipline with a solid technical background in IR sensor systems or related technologies, and demonstrates exceptional written and verbal communication skills across a wide range of technical and non-technical audiences.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion.
  • Drives program execution to achieve key business and financial objectives for orders, revenue recognition, operating income, and free cash flow for new, continuing, or current programs.
  • Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs.
  • Supports negotiation of contract and contract changes.
  • Supports preparation of proposals, business plans, performance Statement of Work (SOW) and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract.
  • Acts as primary contact for IPTs on assigned programs
  • Leads program review sessions with leadership to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
  • 10%-25% travel
  • Ability to obtain a US security clearance

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.

 

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with DoD contracts and IR Sensor manufacture/test
  • PMP or equivalent program management certification
  • Familiarity with systems engineering processes, hardware development lifecycle, manufacturing readiness, and transition to production
  • Experience with earned value management, integrated master schedules, risk management, and formal gate or milestone reviews
  • Experience with domestic and international customer engagements in a regulated defense environment

 

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $127,500 - $236,500. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, and Vermont is $110,500 - $205,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
