Job Description:
L3Harris Technologies Space and Sensors is currently seeking an Associate, Supply Chain Management to contribute to the success and growth of our Space and Sensors division located in Mason, OH. The Associate, Supply Chain Management determines approaches to objectives, demonstrating a theoretical and general understanding and application of procurement principles, concepts, and practices in a DoD environment. This position requires a minimum of 0-2 years’ experience in defense procurement and manufacturing.
Requirements:

Procure components and subassemblies to support various programs,
-
Manage Purchase Orders (POs) and other agreements for direct and indirect procurements; Includes preparation of Requests for Quotes (RFQs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs), proposal evaluation and analysis, and issuance and maintenance of POs.

Select and recommend suppliers, negotiate pricing, delivery, quality, terms and conditions, and execute non-disclosure agreements and service agreements.

Contribute to material cost reduction strategy.

Create and issue various types of POs, including Firm-Fixed Price and Time & Material.

Conduct formal price analysis to determine price fair and reasonableness. Negotiate the lowest possible total cost for the product (balance price with optimum quality and schedule needs).

Identify opportunities to mitigate supply chain risk.

Administer post-award of issued POs

Create purchase orders files in compliance with all command media and necessary process disciplines for audits

Support Integrated Product Teams (IPT) through supply chain representative or as an active team member

Monitor and provide feedback to IPT on critical supplier performance to ensure timely delivery to manufacturing schedules

Active participation in company and department initiatives such as strategic sourcing and various L3Harris improvement efforts
Qualifications:

Preferred Additional Skills:

Experience using advanced Excel skills including use of pivot tables, lookup tables, etc.

Knowledge within Deltek, Costpoint, SAP, and ProPricer

Knowledge in the procurement processes of military grade products

Demonstrated experience working within proposal teams, generating material estimates for bids and proposals, and providing substantiating evidence as needed is a plus

Proven ability to direct and manage multiple projects with effective prioritization

Strong team player with excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills

Superior verbal and written communication abilities, along with strong organizational, negotiation, and management skills

Advanced computer skills, including proficiency to quicky learn ERP systems and MS Office applications, particularly Excel

Capability in reading and interpreting specifications, statements of work, and technical drawings

Basic and theoretical knowledge of FARS, DFARS, and ITAR regulations as they pertain to purchasing requirements

Willingness to learn company policies and processes

Willingness to learn small business government requirements
