Job Description:

L3Harris is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Control Account Manager (CAM) – Material Management to oversee the planning, management, and execution of material-related control accounts. This role focuses on managing material cost, schedule, and performance, ensuring supply chain activities are aligned with program needs.

 

 

Essential Functions:

  • Define, plan, and manage control accounts to meet contract requirements and program objectives.
  • Develop and maintain detailed schedules, budgets, and resource plans for assigned control accounts.
  • Monitor performance, identify and explain variances, and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide accurate and timely cost, schedule, and performance status to the Program Manager.
  • Serve as the primary supply chain interface to the program team, aligning integrated supply chain resources and solutions with business needs.
  • Collaborate with supply chain, engineering, finance, and program management to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.
  • Monitor material performance, identify variances, and drive corrective actions as needed.
  • Support integrated baseline reviews, estimate-at-completion (EAC) updates, and internal and external program reviews.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scope alignment and issue resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable requirements and processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement in material management and program execution.
  • Implement and monitor material cost targets and procurement lead-time objectives in collaboration with Supply Chain Management
  • Coordinate material requirements planning and execution to support program schedules and deliverables.
  • Track the status of procured materials from requisition through receipt, and final delivery, ensuring alignment with program milestones.
  • Monitor supplier performance and collaborate with Procurement, Quality, and Engineering to resolve material issues impacting schedule or cost.
  • Support proposal efforts and baseline planning, ensuring the material strategy is executable and aligned with program needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance/analytics or a technical discipline.
  • Good communication/presentation skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse personalities and various levels of management
  • Possession of strong leadership qualities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including MS Project, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Must be a United States citizen

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proficient/Expert in Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience with IR sensor manufacturing/test
  • Adaptability in fast-paced environments, with a hands-on approach using multiple tools and programs.
  • Experience working in cleanroom environments or handling delicate parts is a plus.
