Job Description:
The Communications and Spectrum Dominance Segment and Spectrum Superiority sector is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Management Support, Level D to join our team in delivering customer sustainment solutions for the MET Program in Malabar, Florida. The Inventory Management team member will work closely with program management, engineering, operations and other functions to contribute to the operations of the program depot, while meeting relevant mandates and statutory requirements.
Essential Functions:
- Assist Depot Manager providing weekly metric reports.
- Conduct periodic physical inventory counts and reconcile with system records
- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments regarding inventory status and issues.
- Provide support during audits and inventory-related projects.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records in the inventory management system.
- Oversee part returns for disposition and quality inspection
- Creating depot operations non-compliance reports
- Oversee shipping requests for customer part orders, ensuring timely shipment
- Receiving parts into depot process incoming/outgoing parts to/from the depot and ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.
- Support the development of obsolescence CDRLs
Qualifications:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associate degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
- Ability to generate and analyze inventory reports and data.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with various departments.
- Willingness to work in a warehouse or storage environment, which may require standing for long periods.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Forklift certification
- Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., Sunflower) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Certification in inventory management, such as Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), is a plus.
