Job Description:
DM to provide support to multiple change analysts and program teams, on the JSF, MADL, and TR3 programs, operating primarily out of the Malabar facility/remote. Duties include: Assists in documenting and tracking all aspects of hardware and/or software development and modification. Assists in performing configuration management, data management or a combination of; assists in using engineering design drawings, parts lists, code or other items to create and document baselines; verifies authorization for and incorporates all changes or additions to them. Responsible for logging, filing and tracking all necessary drawings, documents, lists and various other items. Generates variety of standard reports. Tracks location of hardware/software to incorporate future changes and additions. Support of manufacturing through shipping via document creation and delivery to customer. Creating SDRL baseline schedules from new contracts, reporting and tracking due items, preparation and delivery of required SDRL documentation. Also, to include support of the sustainment, repair, and upgrade processes for the program hardware’s lifecycle as contractually required through tracking, data processing, and delivery.
Essential Functions:
Provide hardware configuration management (CM) support. Duties include:
- Serve as program liaison, document and record meeting minutes and action items, for meetings with team and customers.
- Work independently with action items owners, to ensure action items are completed on time.
- Review SOW and DIDs; create CDRL/SDRL deliverables, according to requirements.
- Format, edit, review and produce CDRL/SDRL documents for delivery, as appropriate.
- Utilize Data Management Tools such as (Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) to support program needs.
- Position requires knowledge of and the ability to use required tools, including SharePoint, SharePoint based tools, PDM, and Sunflower.
- Must be able to accurately manage (enter/modify) data and provide reports utilizing tools.
- Must have excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
- Develop and maintain program processes and documentation as required.
Qualifications:)
- High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Experience supporting U.S. Government customers.
- Knowledge of Configuration Management principles.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience supporting internal and/or external customers.
- Proven ability to successfully multi-task.
