Job Description:

We’re seeking a Proposal Manager to join our Proposal Management Team, responsible for leading our proposal process. In this role, you’ll develop proposal schedules and outlines for our proposal response. You will also coordinate with sales, engineering, program management, contracts, and other cross-functional teams to bring together content to create a compliant, compelling, and persuasive proposal. If you have a strong background in proposals, excellent project management skills, and a passion for winning, we’d love to have you on our team.

Essential Functions:

  • Own the development and timely delivery of proposals in response to RFx and standalone customer requests
  • Ensure delivery of compliant and professionally produced proposals meeting customer requirements and company standards using industry best practices and company processes
  • Coordinate and review proposal inputs from crosss-functional teams and package it into a proposal response
  • Develop/manage proposal timelines and coordinate proposal process and approvals
  • Overtime and travel as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) Certification
  • Strong attention to detail and project management skills
  • Advanced MS Word skills and proficiency in MS Office products
  • Subject Matter Expertise in proposal and RFP best practices
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a team environment
