Job Description:

The Senior Specialist, Integration and Test Engineering will be responsible for developing, integrating and evaluating optical, electronic and mechanical equipment, components or assemblies for complex, high performance electromechanical systems.

  • Responsibilities include review, analysis, and understanding of program level objectives, system concept of operation, product architectures and interfaces, and subsystem equipment, functions, interfaces, and operations
  • Develop test requirements, methods, and test solutions from requirements flowed down as part of the systems engineering team
  • Creation and maintenance of conformance, environmental and reliability test procedures
  • Planning, scheduling and execution of Design Verification Testing (DVT) and Qualification conformance, environmental and reliability testing 
  • Generation of DVT and Qualification test reports
  • Perform test data reduction, analysis, and test reporting; analyze failure data for trends, systemic issues, and reduction/elimination of test escapements
  • Support test readiness reviews
  • Validation and release of production test stations
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills through the preparation and presentation of technical reviews and program status
  • Ability to develop creative yet practical solutions to technical challenges
  • Ability to Obtain a US Security Clearance

 

Qualifications:

  • Technical Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior Integration & Test or Systems Engineering experience.  Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior Integration & Test or Systems Engineering experience.  In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior Integration & Test or Systems Engineering experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Working knowledge of MIL-STD-810 testing requirements
  • Working knowledge of reliability testing requirements
  • Experience working within a mature Integration & Test Engineering department
  • Experience working with DoD contract requirements
  • Experience testing high reliability electromechanical products
  • Experience working with thermal sensors, image intensifiers and/or lasers
  • Proficient in ELM/DOORs or similar requirements / quality management software
