Job Description:

 

The Integrated Vision Solutions (IVS) Sector is looking for a highly motivated finance professional with strong business acumen to support the IVS Program team. This self-starter will be responsible for partnering with leaders on key business processes including Integrated Business Planning, cash flow forecasting and Business Development forecasting. They will also be analyzing and reporting on all key financial aspects of the business including revenue, operating income, cash flow and working capital. An expert in MS Excel and database analytics (pivot tables, dashboards), this highly visible role will also be responsible for driving accountability within the organization to ensure the business meets its financial goals. This role will work closely with a variety of functions across the business including Program Management, Operations, Planning, Engineering and Business Development. 

 

Essential Functions:

 

  • End-to-End forecasting process including proposals, budgeting and variance analysis
  • Work with cross functional teams to track, report on and drive actions that ensure the organization meets its financial commitments
  • Financial leader in support to Engineering, Operations, Business Development and Program Management business partners
  • Pricing support including BOE’s, cost and pricing analysis
  • Forecasting cash flow including outflows and inflows estimating
  • Assist with preparation of Annual Operating Plan and Joint Strategic Plan
  • Identify and lead process improvement plans and initiatives
  •  R&D and B&P budgeting/forecasting
  • Tracking and analyzing KPI’s for Operations
  • Preparation and presentation of various slides to Management and the Leadership Team
  • Support internal and external audits
  • Travel occasionally required (10%)

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 2 to 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.

 

Preferred Additional Skills:

 

  • MBA Degree
  • Proficient in MS Excel and database analytics – to allow continuous improvement on tools and processes (i.e Pivot Tables, Business Intelligence (dashboards))
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills – focus on defining future scenarios and/or operational actions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Self-starter with the motivation to seek out opportunities for improvement
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Familiarity with Cognos, Costpoint and SharePoint
