Essential Functions:
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced data visualization dashboards and reporting tools to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and business performance metrics
- Build and optimize Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) solutions to create new data sources and integrate disparate data systems
- Develop software code using Python, SQL, and other programming languages for database management and back-end analytics infrastructure
- Apply statistical methodologies including ANOVA, design of experiments (DOE), statistical process control (SPC), and regression analysis to identify production trends and process improvements
- Partner with front-end software engineers to build integrated dashboarding and analytics solutions that provide near-real-time operational status
- Analyze business procedures and methods, recommending data-driven changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Create and maintain technical documentation for analytics solutions, data models, and reporting processes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Data Science, Management Science, Mathematics, or other quantitative/analytical discipline required and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
- Minimum 2 years working experience working with SQL
- Exprience applying statistical methods including ANOVA, design of experiments, statistical process control, and regression analysis
- Expeirence with data visualization and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Minimum 1 year of experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or JavaScript
- Proficiency with statistical software packages such as Minitab, JMP, SAS, or SPSS for advanced analytics
- Experience building automated data pipelines and implementing DataOps best practices
- Industry-specific experience in manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or supply chain operations
